Past projects have included support for energy efficiency initiatives to lower operating costs and provide a return on investment – projects that, over time, will have the ability to permit a grantee to sustainably expand its reach or achieve its charitable mission with greater efficiency or impact. Instances of the latter have been offering statewide challenge/matching grants to incent others to support fundraising for the arts, social service agencies and – occasionally – novel ideas that require unique funding to come to fruition.
